Islamabad High Court also known as Federal High Court is established in Islamabad.It was came into being by the presidential order in December 2007.However IHC stared functioning in February 2008 and on February 7,2008 President Pervaiz Musharraf take oath from the first chief justice of IHC Justice Sardar Muhammad Aslam.
